Brother Baba Budan Coffee @ 359 Little Bourke Street, Melbourne

Along the street, Little Bourke Street to be exact, houses a very unique decored cafe that serves out of the world coffees.

How unique is it? Well i haven't got a picture but imagine a lot of chairs hanged upside down from the ceiling, almost as if the place was meant to have two seatings, the floor or the ceiling madam?

Just kidding.

Now i have heard so much about the coffee and failed to get hold of it when i was back in February, discovering that it closes on a Sunday.

Although technically this time around, i have all the time in the world that didn't deter me to have a cup on my 1st day of arrival.

For AUD 3.50, you have a perfectly luke warm cup of latte, milk warmed according to the feel of the hand and not to the thermometer. Whether you would say that's rather stupid or skilled, it ensures that your coffee is not burnt. The result is something so silky smooth with a nutty aftertaste.

I just can't wait to be earning my AUD, if not i am not going to last very long if i need to have a cup everyday.
Address:

359 Little Bourke St
Melbourne, 3000

Open from 7am to 5pm, Monday to Saturdays

Verdict: Best coffee i had all year, definitely a 4 star. Also serve light snacks that i spied but really, it was the coffee i eyed for from the very beginning.

To all those reading from Melbourne, what is your favourite coffee place? Please shout out!

Did a little google search on Baba Budan and Wikipedia revealed something interesting. He is an Islamic mystic, revered by the Hindus as well. He was thought to have brought coffee into India.

Cheers!

There are many random places in Melbourne that serves good coffee. Sensory Lab on 297 Lt collins st is not too bad. Also, Maze Melbourne serves good coffee. They source it from Black Sheep QLD. :)

However, I prefer the ones that my sister makes for me. It's just simple Moccona Espresso Bold with a bit of Coffee mate and molasses with a lots of love. :)

Love, is really a magic ingredient

Australians take their coffee very seriously, so I'm not surprised you've found your perfect cuppa. :-)
