Bak Kut Teh on the 6th Floor of Pavilion?

Its a pity but Silk Road which used to reside on the 6th floor of Pavilion has closed down and is being replaced with;

A Bak Kut Teh restaurant? A sign of big things for Bak Kut Teh? Going up market into shopping malls and spreading the love for pork?

No offence to the Muslims of course, we are after all 1Malaysia.

I love pavilion because they dared to serve pork! unlike KLCC. Pavilion is owned by some Arabs k and yet more business minded?!!

tis Pao Xiang BKT originated fr 45,lebuh Bangau, Klang. "String tight bkt" claimed 2 b less fat n more intense herbs broth. They had just opened in 1 Utama, Puchong Jaya n Pavilion in mid-Dec. Hv tried in Puchong tel:80753288, G14 Jln Kenari 12BBdr Puchong Jaya (behind Tai Thong Rest/Balai Polis, further down is new shop lots, d BKT here comes in thick broth serve in small"rooster" ceramic bowl. Claypot is a NO..No here..Price reasonable RM8.50 + 5% quite a big portion 4 one person.
