Woo Pin Fish Head Noodles @ Taman Danau Desa

Brace yourself to sweat, not just drips around the forehead but bucket loads that will soak half the shirt.

If thats not a problem for you my friend, join me for a meal of fish head noodles from Woo Pin, at Taman Danau Desa.

I have been here on several occasions before and i found the soup, not sour enough.

However last Saturday brunch time, they finally got the concoction correct.

Sour, milky, filled to the brim with fish head pieces and heartwarming bee hoon.

Looking at the bowl of noodles and you can imagine me drooling. Satisfying with a sacrifice. Fish head noodles requires patience to eat without dying from bones stuck in the throat but the throngs of people and the lack of air-conditioning doesn't help. The efficient bunch of workers ensures that your noodles come in a very reasonable time.

If you don't want the hassle of spitting out the fish bones, take the fish paste version, home made and bouncy. The soup base can be with milk / or without milk.

Address:

Woo Pin Fish Head Noodle
Jalan 1/109F, Taman Danau Desa,
Kuala Lumpur

Cornershop

Verdict: 4 stars out of 5 stars. Either come very early in the morning i.e. 7.30am or late i think they close at like 10pm, to avoid the heat but the fish head noodles can really satisfy some serious cravings.

i haven't had much experience with fish head noodles, but this looks even better and packed with more ingredients than the one at grandmama's, which i love... definitely better than the one at rice cafe, i guess...

I think that you should go to the famous one under the flat at Taman Ikan Emas in Cheras...
if you think Woo Pin is hot... the Cheras one definitely will give u second thought :) but if you brave the heat, the quality of fish head noodle there is satisfying...

bones... definitely a concern... which is why i tend to go for fish paste. but then again, it's not exactly fish head but 'yu-lam'.

i have not been to this place but i think the one in jalan batai is pretty good too, no?
