Most of the times? Anything lar.
Shuraku thankfully belongs to the exclusive group of restaurants that we like to visit, for ocassions or the once in a awhile weekday dinner night.
Sitting cosily above Maybank situated in Solaris, its a place that can accomodate no more than 30 people. Being that big means you either have to be lucky or you call in advance for a reservation.
Just like the size, the menu is not exactly the most comprehensive either. However, in the words of someone in my company "it is like a mini skirt, short enough to attract and long enough to cover the essentials".
Blame the dim setting, either its rather romantic or seedy when the japanese comes in and starts on the wide range of sake.
Baked Miso Egg Plant. If you must know, this was one of the dishes we ordered on The Girlfriend and I first date, way back in Australia.
I vaguely remember but this was some sort of pork katsu with cheese inside.
Our favourite; tori teriyaki. Juicy pieces of fried chicken with teriyaki sauce and garlic pieces sprinkled on top.
I prefer the noodles to be almost uncooked but this was fine with the Girlfriend. Whatever she wants, she gets.
Grilled Beef Tongue for a nice chew to end the dinner.Pricewise, the dishes are around RM15 to RM30. Not very expensive. Their dishes tend to lean towards modern Japanese fusion like. Other dishes such as their ramen, negi cha siew, appetisers are also well made. Recommended place for a date.
Address and contact details:
Add: 13-2, Jalan Solaris Mont Kiara 1, Solaris Mont Kiara, off Jalan Duta.

Opening hours: Daily, 6pm - 12.30am
Verdict: 4 stars out of 5 stars. Nice cozy place that is not too crowded on weekdays that serves good Japanese food that both the Girlfriend and I enjoy.

Calling out for Chris, "Come read Joe's post dear!"
I think Nic super loves Japanese food. She recommended me Ninja Jones for celebrating my boy boy's bday then brought me to a Japanese restaurant in Mont Kiara for our gathering etc etc.
She memang a Japanese food addict. Hahahaa.
