My singaporean friends learnt that it is possible to kill more than 1 motorcyclist on the way to Pudu for Siew Yuk, just last week. He finds it amazing how brainless certain people can be with their motorcycles. Well, what can i say? We still have better siew yuk in Malaysia?
I on the other hand was less violent in my discovery of roads being named after local fishes in the old vicinity of Bangsar.

I also learnt that you can diverse from making sandwiches to home cooked thai food.
I also learnt that that hainan chicken rice is no big deal, because i found a damn good ass kicking thai chicken rice.

Just barely minutes away from Telawi, Lorong Kurau is quiet and serene, its presence in the row of shoplots and houses. Within the shoplots, lies Baan Aa-Haan Thai.
Serving really limited items, we went with the usual chicken rice and the various forms of condiments. Theres just something different about the rice they used, its flavourful and compliments the smooth poached chicken.
The fried fish with chilli was also another gem I discovered on subsequent visits.
The tom yum soup was ok, not a big fan naturally.
The tom yum soup was ok, not a big fan naturally. All in all, something simple and affordable. Set lunch only from RM10, comes with soup, fruits and a drink. A firm favourite during the weekends because its quiet and you can sit down and enjoy your chicken rice in peace.

Granted it's not the best, but it's good enough to warrant revisits. And the best part is the price! ;)
