A long hard working weekend (for the stomach, that is)

I am officially on holiday mood.

No mood to work, no mood to blog, no mood to well do anything productive.

Except for eating and sleeping.

So to clean off what little photos i have left that have not been scrutinised by my readers, the meals are as follows:

---

1. Chicken Hor Fun @ Mei Sin, Jalan Imbi

After what seemed like a century ever since i was awake and re-charged (without breakfast) at 8am on a Saturday morning, we found ourselves at Park Royal Hotel to attend our first big warehouse sale (well kind of).

Loreal Clearance Sale, the land where no men and women are affected by recession as the commoners queue up since some godly hour and half hearted people like me enter the front of the queue with a golden VIP card.

Half hearted as i may have felt when i was waiting for the door to open, but the total damage was still a respective (tad under RM800).

Feeling faint, one had to resort to eating, and cheap too may i add.

At the helm, an indonesian lady that busily cuts the chicken, cook the noodles and dresses it on the plate.

The result: Damn good breakfast.

Wash it down with Teh Si Ais, and you can forget about the RM 800 credit card bill till the statement comes in a couple of weeks

2. Celebrating my friend's birthday brunch @ Zipangu Buffet Lunch.

Is it just me or the weekend was just terribly hot and stuffy? Remembered suffering from a heat stroke at Sid's Pub on Friday night and then eating at a sealed off area of Zipangu where the air-con was down. One could only imagine what happened to me when i was with a throng of 25,000 people at Wang Lee Hom concert that night.

The lighting of the colour was terrible and probably explained why after a couple of shots i stopped.

The Sashimi was probably the highlight (minus marks for cutting their fish WAY TOO THIN) with their cooked items; limited, boring and not particularly exciting.

The complimentary birthday cake; Hazelnut Mousse, generous layers of mousse and sponge cake for the birthday boy.

Someone commented i don't put enough faces on my blog. So there you go, the birthday boy and the beauties.

I miss that Chicken Hor Fun on my trip, it was not open :(
In the end, went for the curry mee and the wantan mee which was also yummy.
