Just when all the bad memories for the landslide and the lives lost in that cursed area have been buried and forgotten, it springs alive as now to strike again; big houses and small houses, no one is spared, rich or poor.
I suppose it is the time of the year when one has to learn how to be humble and grateful, for you never know when nature will strike, and who will be struck.
Thus, after splurging a ridiculous amount on dinner, the next dinner should be a simple one.
Don't we all need to spot check a part of our lives and learn to save?
Situated at the famous Berkeley Round about in Klang, the first roundabout when you enter Klang from Federal Highway, before all BIG jam.After spending almost RM 200++ per person, i know the nasi lemak we had that night wasn't the cheapest in the world, but compared to the last meal, dirt cheap.
The extra big nasi lemak, much bigger than your usual portion. The sambal was on the sweet side and lacked the spicy kick, just nice for an intolerant lover for Chilli. The ikan bilis was stale but when you mix that runny Egg Yolk and the Fried Chicken together in one pile of mess, although rather delicious, you get a very satisfied customer.Recommended to take their Milo Ais Kau. REALLY Kau.
Kau = Extra oomph.
Address:
Berkeley Roundabout in Klang
Verdict: Not cheap for mamak food, but at that moment, it was rather satisfying and i can probably give this a 3 stars out of 5 stars, because it filled my stomach as opposed to the last meal.
