Don't lie, tell me the truth.
Despite prices of fuel spiralling the prices of every other commodity up; have you been eating out like you used to? Or have you been sane enough to realise, that your wallet can't take you to the places that you always visit?
Or is it me; despite heading towards the path of accountancy, i can't even get my debits and credits to balance?
I am finding myself, starring at an empty wallet and yet, planning for nice dinners every weekend and yet on that very day, i am looking for cheaper alternatives.
How about you fellows?

On another note, any Australians out there who read my blog and know abit about their personal tax system? Need help in my Tax assignment!

Once a while (typically once or twice in a month), I'll pamper myself with good food. But not every weekend.. :P
Oh I feel you, bro! I'm going out every night this week and the wallet burns, baby, it burns!! Lol...
i spend more then 1/3 of my salary 4 foods=.='
Odd but in the past couple of months, I found myself going out to eat more than ever... almost an indignant, foolish attempt to prove that the price rises ain't got nothing on me, like somehow my wallet's invincible. It's not, as I duly found out. So now, I'm cheap as chips... :-(
hmmm i guess i'm kinda in the same boat as you lah...
the wallet runs dry due to excessive consumption of food hahaha!
but hey, money if not spent, depreciates no?
burn baby burn... disco inferno! i find that now, you need to ASK how much is that panggang fish (roadside) or they could charge u MORE.. taking advantage these days, the hawkers (can't blame em). But fine-dining is more legitimate... expensive as always la.. no change. what to do...
Yes right, everything is on the rise but not salary.
christine: yeah lor..salary lags behind..
c&c: well fine dining also gets worse..smaller portions..as if it isn't small enough

did not affect me much, until my waist circumference sounded the alarm. whooops ... and the unfavourable comments from the others somehow made me think twice before going for lavish meals ...
when debits don't match credits, create suspense accounts? :-D
Life is unpredictable, just eat whatever u want, haha!!
Been eating out so much cos I don't have a kitchen now! :(
Longing for home-cooked food again....
i feel that something's not right in the equation lor. something/somehow/somewhere should come up with a compensation program to at least cover the rate of inflation lor.
yeah, i know. it's quite impossible. sianzzzz....
Well have gone out to eat lavishly like once a month compared to before, when I feel like it.
Still trying to cook at home and not able to. :)
seaqueen: haha no home cooking on wkends..no no..

you go twist his arm for that.
I am already getting a lot of freebies/goodies without twisting his arm at all.
trust me, once you start regularly patronizing a restaurant, you won't believe what secrets you get to enjoy without even opening your mouth.
Live to Eat - what's the saying goes. No matter how expensive food is we still need to eat, right?
ya lor . . . so expensive to eat out even at hawker stalls as a bowl of noodle can work out to be RM4.50 to RM6.00 . . . this is crazy . . . !

Recently i found myself eating more hawker food when the budget for restaurants are not there. lol!
but so long is nice food its all right!
Well... not much of difference in eating out for me. After returning from my KL food hunt, the few sens increased in the local food was not that bad compared if I were to stay in KL. So glad I'm staying in Penang with good food and cheap pricing :)
