Pick n' Brew @ 1 Utama

It is as if he heard me. Heard that i got am clueless in Shah Alam and anywhere else that is in the radius of 30 km.

Well at least he had the courtesy to let me find my way to 1 Utama though.

Now, floggers are famed for knowing how to eat, where to eat and write about eating. Well apparently, we have a local flogger that also knows how to brainstorm a place to eat.

Rumours has it that he secretly trained as a flogger, eating all he can, exploring the mind of a true food lover, to finally come up with a place fit for picky floggers.

Thus Pick n Brew blossomed their second outlet in 1 Utama last Sunday.

Sad to say, i dont have a proper food review up yet, but for those who havent got a chance to visit, have a look at the decor and the bargain ice blended i got that day.

A classy way of giving you abit of privacy, abit like a strip show, you see but you cant see.

If there is one feel this place gives me, it is the recent cafe craze. The 'Delicious' cozy effect that somehow reminds me how Jackson loves to go there. Now i wonder if they have the same concept designer?

Of course the great man himself, on the right, receiving money till his arms are aching.



Now the opening promotion was about the best i ever seen in awhile. RM2 for an ice blended irish cream frappucino with a free muffin. Who can say no to that? For RM2, i would struggle to get an iced coffee in a mamak, let alone an ice blended. With a free muffin, eventhough it would have fared better (heated) and made less dense of course, it was a steal!

Verdict: I can only comment that i would like to pay the full price to see the real deal, because this cup showed a glimpse of what it can offer judging from the aroma surrounding the whole place. Unfortunately, irish cream you shall have to wait for me till another day.
