Like i said many a times, i blog whatever that comes out from my mouth or heart, or in this case whatever my fingers wants to tap away on the keyboard of my dying laptop.. I seldom stop and think after a sentence..the words are meant to flow out like a long fart that has accumulated in your body for very long..I mean..thats the whole purpose of blogging..thats just me.. I dont see what is the point of proof reading and reading and spell checking hundreds of time before you decided to click on the publish post button. I never hesitated to type what i want to type so thats why i always feel that i am a natural in food blogging..i blog how i feel about the food, how it looks like..how it makes me feel..alas..when it comes to more serious topics..it forces me to think which is against the original intention of me blogging..i have already been told i need to slow down and think before i speak in real life, so do i really need sommore nagging in the blogosphere?
So without further ado, i think i should answer some questions, even if its from two readers..Thus the conclusion of the Wars..
Back to the wars, i was asked why i should stand up on the fence? Well i guess there isnt any real winner just yet.. Nuffnang has gained popularity with the down to earth yet famous bloggers..but Advertlets has shown that being cocky and cool also cant be that bad.. And being me.. i am abit of both.. So who is the real winner then? If it has to go with instincts and what my gut feel is.. it has got to be *drums roll* Nuffnang.. why?
Simply because i joined them first..Their creator, Timothy left comments on my blog when i complained i didnt get an ad..haha the power of procrastination..and little did i realise that some of the floggers joined Nuffnang too!.. Well goes to shows..whatever it is, i am still a true flogger at heart and i stand by them..But doesnt mean Advertlets is no worse..but to me, Nuffnang displays a more genuine place to be in a blogging community..
Which leads on to the 2nd question.. so why the ads in the first place?
There are actually two answers to the question, one that maybe some would like to read, and one that comes deep from my heart.. What would people want to read? The promise to join the expanding Malaysian blogging community and become one? Or the extra awareness of the latest applicable products and services that can benefit my readers? Or maybe just to make my blog abit more colourful? Well, choose your pick but no..The real and simple answer is.. I wanted to make money..who doesnt? But of course sooner or later, you realise that the intention of blogging to not to purely make money.. So yes, i wanted to put those ads hoping that i get a sponsored meal or two..but i guess i might have to wait a while longer..
So with those answers..i hope i have concluded what was a heck of a confusion of ideas and a jumbled and non-concluding war..
No offence to Josh Lim from Advertlets and please Timothy from Nuffnang dont get too cocky also yea? (Psst: You can always reward me with this coming month lucky draw..i need a new camera..better pictures would do well in increasing my visitors) Muahahaha..
My sinus is acting up..and i am having a headache whenever i bend down.. When will i fully recover to get some food reviews up and running? Sigh..
