Terrace Bakery @ Mont Kiara

I was still contemplating whether to take a short break from blogging, i mean after all i broke records with the number of unique visitors i had , the number of clicks in a day and best still, i made great friends with a bunch of people on a priceless night

Blogging had never meant so much to me until so recently.. I am still in shock when i imagine to myself that everyday, there will be readers clicking on my links from my floggers blog..wondering what "lots of cravings" is about or my fellow returning visitors typing out my address or clicking on their bookmarks wondering if this fellow got some more mouthwatering food to display..Ok..maybe i am exaggerating and you guys probably accidentally click on my blog thinking to yourself..thats a crap one..why did i click ar?

Ok..enough of bullshit..its not fair to crap about something else in a food review meant for this nice cosy bakery situated next to Somo and a 2 minute walk away from Marmalade..

They sell a variety of fresh baked bread, loaves, flavoured with meat, jam and etc.. The usual bread affair..but what they do extra is a breakfast menu that lasts till the afternoon or the whole day..So coming here for lunch suddenly became a late breakfast plan..Lets have a look..

The omelette that comes with mushrooms served with a side salad and a piece of bread of your choice..white..wholemeal..and add abit more for a croissant..The smell of a perfect omelette is sometime so amazing..and of course mouth watering..

The duo of scrambled eggs was another delight to behold..the first half is a classic dish that i always love but of course fail to master..a simple scramble with smoke salmon served on wholemeal bread/muffin..The fluffy eggs and the smoky salmon were just one of the couples meant to be with each other..

On the contrast though, we have a cajun flavoured scramble eggs that were abit dry..but the unique peppery flavours was just surprising my tongue all the way..under it was a piece of pepperoni..this was a first..

I still remembered when i asked the person behind the counter, what is good to eat? The first thing he said was the banana french toast!.. That caught me by surprise and of course not to disappoint him, we ordered.. the bread was beyond fluffy coated lightly with eggs and bananas topped nicely..cinnamon powder and honey completes this satisfying dish..

Prices ranges from RM9.90 to 14.90 ( i think) and the address and contact details:

15-02A, SHOPLEX MONT KIARA (opp Pines Condo)
Jalan 1/70C, Mont Kiara, 50480 Kuala Lumpur
Tel: 03-62032980

A very respective 8.2 out of 10..strictly on the breakfast menu..Remember a hearty breakfast is the best way to start a day..and also get through a hangover!

Hey Joe, I have posted a msg on Jackson's blog. It reads:

The Cheras Food Bloggers Sub-Committee hereby imposing a blanket ban on all food blogging activities on Cheras territory unless given verbal or written permission by the sub-committee members.

Anyone found food crawling on Cheras soil without permission will receive stiff punishment that will be determined by the sub-committee members.

Have a nice day! ;-)

Kakakaka.....good or not? We must protect our territory from being pillaged by outsiders!
