A drink of the day..watermelon mixed with strawberries..a tangy kick to a sweet watermelon..nice touch..
The following pictures are actually part of one plate..but the plate was humongous..thus the separate pictures..roast potatoes..abit dry..although it looks more tasty..in life..it was abit bland as well..
What seems to me as acar acar..was i guess acar acar..no comment also really..
The main part of the meal..a mixed grill consisting of lamb and fish..now we are talking..the black pepper sauce was drenched all over..really good..the fish was well cooked..no fishy fishy smell..the lamb was tender and well marinated..now we are talking..
Since its famous for their scones, it is abit stupid to skip dessert right?? For RM 4 this is really one of the best scones i have ever eaten..it didnt taste like simple flour but had lots of what seem to me like wholemeal and grains..giving it a somewhat healthy feeling eventhough i was spreading butter and jam everywhere hahaa..
Here you go...i am definitely coming back for the scone..Since its in a somewhat high class area, the set lunch excluding the scone was RM 18.90 and the scone was RM 4..the grill fish and lamb scored back against the somewhat slacked side dishes and the scone really kicked in the winning goal for me..for the sake of the scone..this place deserves a 8 out of 10..so remember..eat your lontong in Pinang Masak and jump over here for scones..!

i've tried the scone some time ago, cant remember it tasted that good. when you want to go again, get the gang go also ok. i want to try.

LOL! I'm sure I have pixs of Topaz also. They have nice nasi lemak and a yummy fish curry not in the menu. Choc Brownie also quite nice too.
Your picture of Lamb and Fish reminds me of a Hk series. The chinese character for 'Sin' (Fresh) actually consist of 2 characters: Yeong (Sheep) + Yue (Fish). Thus the chef in the series whipped out a dish by stuffing lamb into the fish and then steam. Hahaha...so, is the combination any good to you?

dude... u enjoyed your meal there? i really hate that place man... there's where my boss likes to take me for reviews.... the only thing good is the scones and bread... buy bread at about 6pm... u get the whole loaf at 50% off!!!
