The real meaning of "irony"

Just a short one..before i start work..yesterday was my colleague birthday..Firstly happy belated birthday to her..and the ironic thing was her dinner..

An invite was sent out the day before, and being a food lover i couldnt miss the chance to go visit Kampachi in Equatorial..The time for dinner was 7 pm, bearing in mind this was one of the most busiest team in my firm..

Guess what?..Bearly weeks ago, i was asking myself what i was doing at the firm..i had bearly any work to do..and i was bored..i dread that there will be some sort of work for me to do..and my dreams came through..

That night, when everyone was leaving for dinner, i was stuck in my bosses room brainstorming on our proposal and didnt step out from the office till 8.30pm..Such irony right? Sigh..

Second ironic thing, i am what everyone would categorise as "bullshitter" or "chui sui ngau"..so friends said..aiyah since you got nothing to do in your department, why dont you go ask for an internal transfer to advisory..? Then i replied, "Sounds good..but they all 1 kind..all very lan si..sommore every day they wear cufflinks like they damn yeng like that"..Then the general reply was " Eh, you lan si wat..wear cufflinks..suit them very much"

Want to faint d la.. Thats it for now..i have spent the last 35 hours on this proposal..and the deadline is Friday..i cant even count how many more hours left..

Hi. Thanks for dropping by my blog. Incidentally, I think that a man with cufflinks is a man who cares about his appearance. hehe.

actually i m vain..haha but theres a valid reason why i prefer normal shirts over cufflink shirts..the sleeves are longer n less restrictive..when i wear normal shirts..n button on the sleeves..its either too short or as if i m a scarecrow..cant move..
